snip Hi I just got a pcmcia wireless card to work on my laptop what i had to fiddle with are /etc/network/interfaces /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts although the last one i'm not sure actually is implemented. download wireless-tools and check the readme there. good luck' Thomas
