If the lights flash you've found the power button.  (The Power/Speed
light and the DC In light should stay on).  Try adjusting the brightness
knob on the right side of the screen, and try the reset button (use a
pencil or paper clip in the little hole by the power button).  If you
can't see anything on the built in screen, you might try a monitor.
You might also try charging the battery: leave the AC adapter plugged in
with the power off for an hour or so until the battery light turns 
green.
