Dell Latitude D800 laptop information

Hi there, I'm a newbie to this list, so I apologise if I make any faux-pas.

I'm about to take delivery of a Dell D800 laptop, and Have heard from various sources that both the broadcom 10/100/1000 ethernet controller and 802.11a/b/g mini pci cards are not natively supported under debian with the 2.4 kernel.

I intend to perform a netinstall from CD as I have chosen not to get a floppy drive with the laptop, but I am concerned that the netinstall cds will not come with the necessary drivers for either of the above devices.

Does anyone have experience running Debian on D800's? Any tips or advice on how to get this up and running without having to burn a load of cd's for the sake of only a couple of drivers? Any tips on hardware/software optimisation for the D800? Anyone tried the bluetooth/wireless/wired connections this laptop offers under debian?

Thanks,

Conor Fitzpatrick.
