setupping the apt environment for pcmcia after doing the fd install
hi
woody-stable(i think it is) installed to my AMiTY CN1(M3031-J24S1)
via 20 dd-ed images of base
wnats to become a prompt mode (only) musical instrument
but
it says
"cannot locate"
when i
modprobe apm
and
"busy"
when i
modprobe sb
so i thought that my next step is to
develop an apt environment
to do further installings and kernel re-buildings
i have a pcmcia-lan thing with me
and added
card "MELCO LPC4-CLX"
version "BUFFALO","LPC4-CLX"
manfid 0x026f,0x0309
bind "axnet_cs"
to
./etc/pcmcia/config
and did
/etc/init.d/pcmcia restart
and now reading the man things of apt related aspects
but having a feeling like
"oh it's a long long way to go ..."
can somebody lead me to the exact doc that i should read next
or a site that is suitable for a person
who only has a base thing of debian on his machine ?
please let me
thank you
thank you in advance
