wlan: D-Link 610 questions

(i've already posted this on usenet (linux.debian.laptop), however I
don't remember if the list is synced with the newsgroup. so here it
comes again)

Pleace CC me, im not on the list!

Hi all!

I recently bought a wlan 802.11b pcmcia card, namely the d-link 610
(http://www.dlink.co.uk/1936.htm) However I can't seem to find info on
which chip it uses, and after playing and googling around I'm starting
to
fear its http://www.broadcom.com (these *#¤!¤#%&! don't do GNU/Linux)

Can anyone enlighten me?

Perhaps there is a nice method for discovering the chipset, but it seems
they've renamed it. lspci -vvv output of the card follows:

02:00.0 Ethernet controller: D-Link System Inc: Unknown device 3300 (rev
20)
Subsystem: D-Link System Inc: Unknown device 3300
Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster- SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr-

		<TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR-
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 11
	Region 0: I/O ports at 4000 [size=256]
	Region 1: Memory at 14800000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512]
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
		Flags: PMEClk- DSI- D1+ D2+ AuxCurrent=375mA PME(D0-,D1+,D2+,
			D3hot+,D3cold+)
		Status: D0 PME-Enable- DSel=0 DScale=0 PME-

Thanks!
hoping it's not broadcom
