I have a Microsoft Intellimouse plugged into the mouse port on the docking station for my SONY PCG-XG500. I have a ZIP100 drive and a camera plugged into the USB ports. I can use both the glidepoint pad and the mouse interchangeably while transferring image files from the camera to the zip drive. If I use the BIOS suspend power button function (by pressing on the power button) the computer suspends and I can return to my account by pressing the button again. The glidepoint pad works fine at this point but I have to restart the X server to get the mouse recognized again (log out of my account and log back in again), but since I seldom have an occasion when suspending the computer would be desirable I simply don't use it. I also have an intel PCMCIA lan/modem cardbus card and although I don't recall any problems with the suspend function and PCMCIA I have read of others having difficulties. I don't use the Yenta Socket, it doesn't recognize my Intel card.

It might be at the GlidePoint website. I use the wheel on the mouse so I didn't look for another method.

I recently installed some additional USB software and I haven't tried suspend in a long time...I'll give it another try and see what happens...
