Your comment two months ago on debian-laptop was right on the mark: /etc/init.d/laptop-net scheme `guessnet` is a great idea. It's working for me. However, as you noted, there doesn't seem that there's anything we can do about calling guessnet again when link-beat is detected. Have you (or anyone) contacted Chris Hanson to put a hook into laptop-net to call guessnet? Thanks, Judd
