Please find below a link to simple patch type solution to add the ntfs-3g support to Knoppix 7.0.2
(as it is missing from the official released DVD) which does not require remastering:

It uses a "ntfs" patch cloop file (same as KNOPPIX1) but located next to the Knoppix 7.0.2 DVD iso image file.
Please note that this technique can also be used to live patch Knoppix with whatever other feature you may need.
