Bug#600204: linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64: Squeeze ignores Lennys hibernate image

Did I mention that Lenny is using 2.6.32-5-amd64 from Squeeze?

The initrd images were generated by Lenny and Squeeze separately even
though they are the same version and I have separate entries in
grub.cfg for each.

The reason I thought this worth reporting is that I also made the same
mistake on another occasion when I ran Lenny with 2.6.36-rc6-amd64 and Squeeze gave me the option of rebooting as the resume image was
incompatible.

This is definitely more helpful - I was surprised I wasn't given the
same option.

Do resume images in Debian have a signature that distinguishes
different versions of Debian even though they use the same kernel
version?
