What do you mean with "our"?

No. The kernel team already vetoed 2.6.16 and it is only left around for
the D-I beta which was sheduled 2 weaks ago.

No. We don't intend to get into the same problem than with sarge and
release with critical problems open just because they need an ABI bump.

The release team lists them explicitely, so it is there requirement. If
it is not, than they should drop it and let the teams get them ready
