Package: kernel-patch-2.4.27-hppa
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
would it be possible, to provide another kernel-package for HPPA called
eg. kernel-image-<kernelversion>-hppa64-pdc
having CONFIG_PDC_NARROW set to yes?
There are quite a bunch of machines which support 64bit, but their
"bios" does not support to boot a 64bit kernel image.
These machines are: C180, C200, C240, C360, J200, J210, and/or a J2240
If i filed the bug to the wrong package, please feel free to reasign it.
I did not find a package to assign it to, so i decided to open the bug
on kernel-patch-2.4.27-hppa.
Greetings
Martin
