sym53c8xx brocken with 2.6.11 on alpha

Hi, 
i try to bring up the 2.6.11.xx vanilla kernel up on my
Alpha200/166 Avanti board but the probe for the main 
SCSI-Controller (ncr)sym53c810 rev(1) failed of cause the
pci couldn't reserve the BAR(0) I/O at 0x10000 

if i boot the 2.6.8-2-generic the I/O will be at 0x8000 an 
and the kernel still working but i need the wireless extentions > 16
which come with the 2.6.11

i look already at the pci stuff and watch the patches from 2.6.8 to 9
major stuff changed in the work-arounds for the pci-bridges which could
be the entry .. 

any hints?
