Bug#302806: kernel-image-2.6.10-1-k7: ieee1394 interface rejects mass storage device

Package: kernel-image-2.6.10-1-k7
Version: 2.6.10-6
Severity: important

Hardware:
  Rosewill RX30-U2FA USB2.0/1.1+1394a external enclosure.
	Oxford 911+Cypress AT2 chipset
  Seagate ST3300831A drive
  Zonet ZUC2400 USB2.0+Firewire PCI card
  ABIT KT7 Mainboard

Upon plugging the Firewire side of the drive into the Firewire port on
the PCI card, the following messages were logged.

Needless to say, the drive isn't working very well under these
circumstances.
