Bug#266935: error messages during boot in kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686-smp

package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686-smp

Just upgraded from 2.6.7-1-686-smp, and I get the following error
messages during boot. From dmesg:

I have not experienced this with kernel-image-2.6.7-1-686-smp or any
custom compiled 2.6.8 kernels (used the default config from
slackware). I am using Debian Sid with kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686-smp on
a northwood Pentium4 HT / asus P4C800-E.
