Well I have some problems with playback, which are most likely Phonon
related. Phonon as good as the idea is, needs some bug fixing love IMHO.
Especially regarding hibernation and resume of the underlying Linux kernel
and regarding CPU usage of Amarok / knotify4 in the Xine backend of it. I
reported a bug report about it.

I switched to gstreamer backend for a while, but that one also has some
issues.

So granted, Amarok is not as smooth regarding playback as the KDE 3
version of it, but I think thats a Phonon issue. That partly is a problem
in KDE 4. It has so many frameworks. And then where is the bug? In the
application or the framework? For me just as a user I couldn't care less,
cause even when its in the framework, its Amarok what I see doesn't work
how it should.

I had no issues with K3b so far, but I do not use it that often.
