Re: kmail 1.10 (kde 4.1) cant talk tls to my imap server

hmm, sadly not. this package is installed. i also reinstalled it. same problem. the only message from kmail is "TLS Start fehlgeschlagen" = "starttls failed". also there isnt a newer version from experimental. can i run kmail in debug mode? if so, how?

hi,

i installed yesterday kde 4.1 on my debian lenny box. all things seems
fine so far. good work. but, i cant use kmail for email reading. my
cyrus imap server is configured to talk tls with certificate base
authentication. that was no problem with kmail from kde 3.5.9. is there
any config i forgot? i found a bug report from suse/novel user, but
without a solution. (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=383402)
is that a bug or have i run any kde service (kssl)? thats really a show
stopper for me. please help.

btw. tls via smtp is no problem

thx marc

It could be the same problem that I had with the latop I am using right now. The package libqca2-plugin-ossl (needed for QCA TLS in kopete) was not installed.

Could you please check this? If it is the problem, I'll file a bug report (easy to solve, just a packaging issue)

Regards, Lisandro.
