New Kmail makes Debian User Digest unusable.

Hi. I have no idea what happened. I've been keeping as up-to-date in
Sid as possible, with all the shifting around that KDE is doing, but
this morning Kmail has changed to make reading Debian-User-Digest
impossible. I've attacked a snapshot of the window so you can see.
All the encapsulated messages are now showing up as separate
attachments, without any indication of what they are. Prior to this,
they would show up as separate encapsulated messages, but at least
the message would be displayed.
Is there any way to turn the old behavior back on? I have looked
through the Kmail options and cannot find anything that makes a
difference.
Someone told me that the new Kmail version would make it possible
to "reply" to a single message in the digest, that hasn't happened
either. All I get when I select one of the encapsulated "unnamed"
files is "Open in kedit?"
