<posted & mailed> After a system crash, my latptop running debian/kde does not properly automount usb storage devices any more. Devices are mounted by root, read-only mode. No icons on the desktop pops up, no actions performed by kde, although Hal, dbus, udev, pmount seem all working My guess is that some configuration files in $HOME/.kde have been damaged. Any help?
