Hi Stephen and Bob,

It's not necessary to log out every time: running "kded" from the command line 
or selecting "Run Command" from the K Menu and typing in "kded" should be 
enough in this case. kded stops unexpectedly when dbus packages get updated, 
causing cookies to stop working. Hopefully this will be fixed soon...
