For me, belonging to this mailing list, or another, means belonging to a small
community, where there are some small and easy to follow rules: the
nettiquette.
When you ask really simple questions before asking, or post at the top of the
previous email, quoting it entirely, you are going against this rules, and
making the life in this small community a bit more unpleasant.
Maybe you didn't liked Frans' way of saying this, but he is right in the
meaning.
