Autoresponse Re: Re: Re: corrected

This message is from Pete and Pam Wright.

We receive many requests from people who ask us to come to their city or state to provide legal and/or advocacy training. If you have not already reviewed our "FAQ" page, you should do that first. Please go to:
http://www.wrightslaw.com/speak/faqs.htm
and read the info before continuing.

First, we do not plan, arrange or schedule training sessions ourselves. When we speak at conferences, we do so because a group or organization contracted with us and is taking care of logistics.

Organizations and individuals who are acting on their own arrange for us to provide training in their communities. These individuals and organizations find creative ways to get funding for the training.

Some use grants and/or solicit assistance from businesses, hospitals, medical firms, and law firms. In other cases, two or three groups pool their resources to bring us in. Several groups have received financial assistance from their local school districts.

We help by marketing these events through our websites and newsletter. We will help you learn how to promote events through the local news media.

Pete has an active trial practice. Pam writes books and articles, publishes newsletters, and builds websites. These responsibilities force us to limit our out-of-town travel. We are training two colleagues who will be available to do Wrightslaw advocacy training programs in the Fall of 2004.

If you think you are interested in an advocacy program, please follow this link -

http://www.wrightslaw.com/conf/

This will take you to a a private secure directory. You will be asked to enter a username and password.

The username is: VIP
The password is: VIP

(You must use capital letters.)

When you get to this directory, you will see several files and subdirectories.

Open the 1readme.first.txt file. This file explains how to access other files in the subdirectories.

One file has information about scheduling, fees, etc. Other files include sample agendas for 6, 9 and 12 hour programs.

In the subdirectories are biographical information, photos, news clippings, brochures from other conferences, etc.

Thank you for your interest.

If, after reviewing the information in this secure subdirectory, you want to pursue this further, please send an email to petewright@harborhouselaw.com and put in the subject line:

CONFERENCE YOURSTATE YOURLASTNAME RE: whatever

and use that subject line in ALL subsequent emails.

In your email to petewright@harborhouselaw.com, please note that you have reviewed the information about fees, costs, etc, in the subdirectory, tell us when you think you want to schedule a program, if you are interested in a one day, day and a half, or two day program, or not sure. Again, in the subject line, please be sure it begins with CONFERENCE YOURSTATE YOURLASTNAME, for example, CONFERENCE VIRGINIA WRIGHT, etc.

Pete and Pam are fully booked through Spring, 2005 and are scheduling conferences in the Fall of 2005. We will not schedule conferences from mid September through October, 2005.

Our colleagues are available now.

Thanks.

Pete & Pam Wright
