Weird kword problem: frame borders don't print well

Hi everybody,

I'm using kde packages (3.1.5) from unstable on a system that is otherwise a 
sarge box.  When I try to print a document that has frame borders, the 
borders don't print at all, or are very, very thin.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
