kdebindings needs its Java bit converted to use gcj. I have started, but
the misteries of autoconf have got me really confused. There are some
explicit bits of code in configure.in which do not like gcj, and I am really
unsure why they are there. I am also low on time currently. But I do
hope to convert it, and then feed that back to the KDE community at
which point at least the java bits of kdebindings can be accepted into
main (currently they would have to be in contrib as they need non-free
java compilers).
