Unable to open ftp in Konqueror, Kmail

I'm unable to open any ftp-links in either Konqueror or Kmail.
If I click on a ftp-link, nothing happends. If it's a http-link then it 
works. I'm unable to find anything to solve my problem either in the 
debian-kde archives, or google.

I'm running kde3.1.1 on woody, fetched from 
deb http://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.2/Debian stable main
