Two points spring to mind. I would expect that KDE3 on kde.org was 
compiled with gcc-2.95 - you are compiling with 3.3, and this will not 
work. You will need to either specifiy that your debian/rules uses 
gcc-2.95 or change the default gcc on your system.

You may also find that you need the libqt3-compat-headers package.

BUT:

I strongly recommend that people running KDE3 on sarge use the debs from 
sid, not from kde.org. This gcc issue is noly one of the problems that 
sarge users will encounter.
