Being hopeful as a maintainer doesn't help a user. And backports for people 
who rely on certain software functionality occur on many places, so I 
personally consider the samba 3 snapshot a mistake. Providing snapshots is a 
good idea if you want to help stabilize the software, not forcing people to 
use them (which you do if people upgrade to unstable)
