To answer my own question, and in case anyone else is having the same
trouble (unlikely, but still...) Konqueror was working fine.
The reason i couldn't see any IPv6 sites using it is that i was using the
Junkbuster Proxy which isn't IPv6 enabled and had forgotten i was using
it.
