KDE3.1 for Sarge

Hi

I'm currently running Sarge and have unofficial KDE3.0.3 packages installed. I 
want to upgrade to 3.1 but am a bit confused as I've read various conflicting 
advice about the best way to go about that for Sarge.

If someone who has done the 3.0.3 to 3.1 upgrade on Sarge and could let me 
know what the best way to go about this is I'd be very grateful :)
