Hi all, The gcc3.2 transition has started! This is immensely exciting because it means that KDE3.1 could be in sid as soon as a week from now - possibly even less time. But, it also means unstable's in a state of flux. Read: broken. Currently, XFree86's GLU is not built against g++3.2. Nor is Qt3. However, libfam is. So, your best advice if you want to build anything in unstable is just to wait a few days, until everything blows over. When it's safe to resume building, I'll let you know. KDE 3.1 will enter sid as soon as is practicable: i.e, not far from now, so it's best to just sit tight and deal with your existing installation for a week. Cheers! :) d, Debian KDE co-maintainer-ish -- Daniel Stone <dstone@trinity.unimelb.edu.au> Developer, Trinity College, University of Melbourne
