Well here are the settings in my konsolerc:

defaultfont=fixed,12,-1,5,50,0,0,0,0,0
font=4

How do they compare?

This is one thing that needs to be sorted out at some point - from the font 
settings dialogue, I can't even work out which font is being used as default. 
To get a similar look, I have to select Fixed, 15.
