migrating ~/.kde from KDE2 to KDE3

Hello,
I'm one of the folks who's busy compiling KDE3 at the moment. I tried
RCs 2 and 3 with a new user ('kde3user') and all was find and good.
However, with final, I'd like to migrate my regular user.
I just want to get an idea of what concerns there might be regarding
when the Sid packages come out for KDE3, i.e. should I be worried about
~/.kde changes or anything like that? And how well does KDE3 handle the
migration of your configurations? Can anyone share any experience?
