When I start KreateCD it says that some programs needed by KreateCD 
cannot be found. And it gives an option to go to the path configuration.

A friend of mine has the same problem, he's running debian/testing.

Some more info:

And when I try to add mp3 files to an audio CD kreatecd says it is an 
unknown format, wav and ogg are supported though.
