It's simply saying that you don't have the RENDER extension loaded. Either
you A) are running xfree 4.x.x and don't have the render extension loaded or
2) aren't running xfree 4.x.x and don't have the render extension available
or D: are running xfree 4.x.x and don't have a supported video card (much
less likely with 4.1.x, much more likely with 4.0.x).
