Much better idea: install Suns StarOffice 6.0beta which runs alright and does 
real good work on importing MSOffice files, even leaving the macros in its 
place. It also starts up much faster than 5.2 and has a better import of 
these file types. I also get ms-word and excel files sometimes and was able 
to open all of them with it.
