You can add no-auto-key-retrieve to .gnupg/options to (you guessed it)
disable automatic key retrieval. This means you can still have a keyserver in
the options file and just use gpg --recv-keys when you feel like it.
Does anyone know if there are any plans for asynchronous gpg in kmail? (i.e.
progress bar, ability to kill...) I once thought about putting it in myself
but as usual I had no time... =(
