I seem to remember this came up before, and I think it had to do with having
a mixed KDE. All of KDE should be 2.2.2 by now. Try to upgrade and see if
that fixes it. You might need to fetch some packages from unstable. apt-get
can do this for you with little? trouble using a preferences file. Let us
know how your upgrade goes and if it fixes your problems. If you need help
wiht a preferences file, I can offer some help as I spent quite a bit of time
trying to get mine working.
