Yep, I do know that...  Which is why when I thought it was my personal conf, I 'mv .kde .kdebackup'ed instead of 'rm -fR .kde'.  When that didn't fix anything, I moved it right back.  I can test software *and* keep my config <struts proudly>  :-P
