Kppp whit kernel 2.4.5



Hi to all!
I have a question.

I have installed debian 2.2r3 with kernel 2.4.5 and
all the packets upgraded (mount, ppp, libc6 etc).

Normally i use gnome but now i would to use kde 2.1.1
All is ok but i can't establish a ppp connection with 
kppp.

With pppconfig and the command line pon is all ok
and i can connect to internet, but when i try to connect
with kppp this is what happen:

chat[7314]: abort on (BUSY)
chat[7314]: abort on (NO CARRIER)
chat[7314]: abort on (VOICE)
chat[7314]: abort on (NO DIALTONE)
chat[7314]: abort on (NO DIAL TONE)
chat[7314]: abort on (NO ANSWER)
chat[7314]: send (ATZ^M)
chat[7314]: expect (OK)
chat[7314]: ATZ^M^M
chat[7314]: OK
chat[7314]:  -- got it
chat[7314]: send (ATM0DTxxxxxxxxx^M)
chat[7314]: expect (CONNECT)
chat[7314]: ^M
pppd[7313]: Terminating on signal 15.
pppd[7313]: Exit.

Anyone can help me ?
