  Well, it depends on what you call "stable" :

- if you mean Potato, never. Potato has been released, so it will not evolve.
- if you mean Woody, well, it is supposed to enter into freeze soon... 
honnestly I wouldn't expect a release before a year or so (for Potato the 
freeze lasted more than one year).

  You can already find Potato-compiled packages for X4.0.2. If you're 
interested, I'll find the URL for you.
