Oh, silly me. I ticked the Using Antialias option a while ago, before
upgrading to kde 2.1-final-1 and qt 2.3 beta. That's my problem though.
Thanks for the hint.

BTW, do you know any plan for the support of XFT in qt for other charset
besides (iso8859-1, iso8859-15, and unicode)?
