Hello, Kmix does not show any mixer devices here. I am using a SoundBlaster 16 card. I can change my sound volume with artscontrol, but when I exit artscontrol the sound is back at it's original volume. I am using kde2.1 on potato now, but the problem was already there in kde2.0.1. While I did not have the problem using kde2.0 on SuSE 7.0, so I think it has to do with debian and/or the packing... Gerralt
