I think it is Bug#205055.
Unfortunately Torsten leaves many bugs about gs package.
If you need better ghostscript, use gs-esp package. This package is
maintained by active maintainer (Masayuki Hatta) and solves kochi-font
problem.
Install gs-esp, and do "update-alternatives --config gs".
