Problemino Gdesklets su Etch

Salve,
come da titolo ho problemi con gdesklets!
Installato non so piú quanto tempo fa, da poco ha smesso di funzionare!
Mi é sparito l'applet dal desk, il prog non si apre piú e non mi fa
selezionare gli applet, ho disinstallato tutto, eliminato le cartelle
e i conf, installato nuovamente ma nulla!
Il prog si avvia e mi viene anche visualizzata l'icona peró non posso
accedere alla selezione degl'applet!
Qualche idea?
