(woody) ip_forward assume valore 0 durante arp spoofing

Ciao a tutti,
non so se sia normale (???), volevo sapere se qualcuno di voi sa perchè 
si comporta così.
La macchina in questione (woody) fa da router (MASQUERADE) a diversi 
client per raggiungere un'altra rete, proprio per questo il 
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward ha valore 1.
Ho notato in diverse occasioni che facendo arp spoofing su quelsiasi 
IP/MAC di qualsiasi rete raggiunta dal mio pc, ad esempio con ettercap, 
l'ip_forward assume valore 0, disconnettendo tutti i client.

Any suggestion?
