months without any problem (210 days for a heavy mysql server)

I have been away and busy testing...
2.6.9 and 2.6.15, 2.6.16 all show major memory leaks with I2O. We are using
a 2.6.9 RH Kernel and 2.6.15,16 Vanilla kernels - I don't really want
to use 13 if I can avoid it - maybe its the unlucky number thing! :-)

I am also not REALLY impressed how they 'plug' into the onboard
scsi controller - I can't configure termination etc, anymore now....

Does anyone have any good ideas for a PCI-X SCSI RAID controller?

I've got a server back for testing, I even don't manage to boot with 2.6.16 or
2.6.17-rc5 (kernel panic just after kernel loading).

I'll try 2.6.14 or keep the well working 2.6.13.
Linux only see 7 GB of memory instead of 8, configuring Opteron with Linux
is pain.

For a good controller there is the LSI Megaraid
