upgrading Debian-GNU-Hurd
I did some progress in upgrading Debian-GNU-Hurd thanks to Marco and Ogy.
However I have a problem with X.
I install Debian-GNU-Hurd from the K5 cd : X window works fine.
I edit my /etc/apt/sources.list

I run apt-get update.
I copy debian/update-rc.d from the /cdrom/src/hurd.tgz archive in /sbin
because the following command needs it on the PATH.
Then I run apt-get upgrade dpkg.
I chmod +x /libexec/rc
When I reboot, everything seems ok (gnumach1.3 etc...).
When I run startx the screen turns black for one or two minutes
and then the computer reboots.
Did I miss something?
BTW, when I run apt-get dist-upgrade I get the following error:
Reading Package Lists...
Building Dependency Tree...
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xlibs: Depends: libfontconfig1 (>= 2.1) but it is not going to be installed
