yes that is true.The same flick can be used for
compiling *.defs or *.idl etc. and for IIOP code
generation.
The difference is that Flick is made in components
with 3 separate pieces for compiling the various
formats of IDLs,producing the code in different
languages like c or C++,getting the code to be
generated for IPC ,IIOP etc.
It is highly flexible,unlike MIG which is basically
for IPC and c language.
