If I set NAME=silly, then it works.
I do not set $NAME nor $DEBFULLNAME. I expect that to be gotten from
the GECOS field in nss (i.e. /etc/passwd).
AFAIK $EMAIL can be "foo <email@example.com>" instead of just
"firstname.lastname@example.org", but due to assumptions like the above, I don't
currently do that.
