I didn't mean to give offense; my grumbling was purely esthetic in tone.

I have a personal, subjective distaste for the "-2" nomenclature, that
is all.

Since I do not measurably contribute to GTK+/GNOME development, please
weight that subjective distate accordingly.  :)
