Hmm, would it make sense for us to package libgnomeprintui and
libgnomeprintui-cups (with the ximian patches)? They should have the
same ABI so it should be easy to drop the appropriate one in depending
on your preference and print-system.

However, printing is a plugin, so it should be feasible to implement a
gnome-print based gimp printing plugin. Printing on Windows is a
separate plugin for example.
